These are challenging times for our community and nation, and we are thankful for the dedication of Sharp HealthCare team members as they continue to deliver the very best care to our patients, support their families and be there for each other in the face of adversity.

COVID-19 has created the greatest need for medical resources in our nation’s history. At Sharp, we have been working around the clock and expending extraordinary resources to enable our caregivers to safely treat patients in our hospitals and clinics.

Today, Sharp is caring for more COVID-19 patients than any other provider in San Diego.

We are grateful for the offers of support for our health care workers. The Foundations of Sharp HealthCare have created the Sharp COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund to help provide critical resources for our front-line caregivers.

We are also pleased to share that Sharp has received a $350,000 challenge grant from the Conrad Prebys Foundation in support of Sharp’s COVID-19 response. This grant matches community donations dollar for dollar. Through his philanthropy, Conrad Prebys had an extraordinary impact on organizations and the San Diego community, and the Conrad Prebys Foundation is carrying on his legacy of generosity.

Learn how you can help meet the Conrad Prebys Foundation challenge and support our care teams through the Sharp COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund, or find out about donating meals or medical supplies, such as masks and other personal protective equipment.

We thank you and the San Diego community for your generosity. Together, we can save lives.

With appreciation
