I was absolutely dumbfounded that the city council did not approve the Youth Center sponsored by, paid for and maintained by the Presbyterian Church.

What could be a better environment for youth; for sure it would be well supervised. I cannot imagine the youth and parents not being absolutely grateful for this generous ongoing gift to the community. Please reconsider and keep in mind how important it is to the welfare of our young people to have a facility controlled by the loving care of a Christian Church. I cannot imagine a more perfect establishment. I cannot imagine the council turning down this most generous gift to the young people of Coronado.

Please reconsider.
