Separating children from their parents is cruel and very damaging to both children and parents, as witnessed by lawyers and social workers who visited detention centers and reported that some of the children were sleeping on cement floors. Also are fed non-nutritious food which is vital for their healthy growth. The report includes that some or all children were denied making calls to their parents, as reported by social workers, who consider this torture.

This is extremely contrary to American values and human rights.

If we wish to express our views about separation of families, contact the Office of the Attorney-General, U.S. Department of Justice, 950 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20530-0001.
