Hello! My name is Marina Richard, I am a 23 years old and have spent the majority of my life growing up in Coronado.

I am writing today to thank the Coronado Eagle and all of its writers for allowing my students and I to read about the local happenings from afar. I am currently working in Prague as an English teacher, and brought with me several copies of the Eagle. Every week, my Czech students and I begin our lessons by reading an article together from the Eagle and discussing it. My students love learning about American culture and news, so this newspaper fascinates all of my pupils, young and old. Having grown up in Coronado, I also appreciate hearing the news because it makes me feel like I am not so far away.

Thank you for the small reminders of home every week. Na shledanou, Coronado!
