Regarding the deplorable and inhumane treatment of migrants as noted by more than 1700 letters sent from federal centers. One of many letters tells of rotten food, high cost and violent conflicts in Otay Mesa Center detainees who are some of the victims.

I personally am impressed favorably that professors and students at San Diego State University have witnessed some of the conditions mentioned and spoke up.

Please include me in your visits next time. I am a retired public school teacher in California. Worked with children who have physical and learning challenges, kindergarten through eighth grades. Put myself through college where I met many new immigrants from Russia, central America, Southern U.S.
