Let me begin by quoting a fellow Californian, 18 year old Chloe Cole, in her complaint against Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan & Kaiser Foundation Hospitals precisely: “My teenage life has been the culmination of excruciating pain, regret, and most importantly injustice. I have been emotionally and physically damaged and stunted by so-called medical professionals in my most important developmental period. I was butchered by an institution that we trust more than anything else in our lives. What is worse is that I am not alone in my pain. I will see to the fact that the blood and tears of detransitioners like myself will not lay waste. It is impossible for me to recoup what I have lost, but I will insure no children will be harmed at the hands of these liars and mutilators.”

A fifth grade teacher on Long Island at Terryville Elementary School is being sued by parents. The teacher is alleged to have “manipulated a preteen female into changing her gender identity when the child did not feel any inclination to do so” that teacher, again without the parent’s knowledge, constantly referred to their daughter using male terms of address. The parents allege their daughter was, without their knowledge or approval, exposed to graphic LGBTQ+ sexual content, including information about transitioning surgery and hormones.

Last week the U.S. Food and Drug Administration was sued for allegedly withholding records detailing the off-label use of hormone treatments such as puberty blockers by underage children. A recent study by Pennsylvania’s Mercy Catholic Medical Center reports people taking such hormone treatments are seven times more likely to have a stroke, six times more likely to have a myocardial infarction, and at a five times higher risk of pulmonary embolism. Reasonable people understood Chloe Cole very clearly when she recently said, “I’m afraid my generation will be led astray.” Despite what Assembly Bill 1266 may state, the moral and legal price to be paid for intentionally concealing critical mental health information about children from parents (at potentially grave harm to minors) are likely to be both life-altering and expensive. My advice to the good people of the Coronado Unified School District is to very carefully monitor the outcome of these court cases, and when you become aware of public-school teachers promoting transgenderism in the classroom, immediately consult with legal counsel. It’s OUR kids’ lives that are at stake.

Great advice. You should run for school board sometime.

Reasonable people understood Chloe Cole very clearly when she recently said, “I’m afraid my generation will be led astray.” We live in a Society where we do not have enough "reasonable people" to ensure the safety of our Children. The mindset that would encourage children to mutilate their bodies, is unforgivable. Those who "preferred" these candidates and policies should be ashamed.

It would seem her parents, not society or elected officials, bear the primary responsibility for her situation. Don’t you typically advocate for more parental control?

You are correct parents do have primary role in protecting their children, but as you know, a normal and healthy society should not allow for the intentional abuse of their children. It scares me to think that this is debatable amongst so many. We will allow children to choose to mutilate their bodies with permanent results, well before their ability to make these life decisions are fully developed. This type of insanity that is being pushed upon our children by the "educated elites" should be legally resisted by all who love children. The dire results for many who have gone through these procedures are staggering, the mental depressions and suicide rates should at least cause us to wait until their cognitive abilities are completed. We should be able to put down political wedge issues for the betterment of these children. Given them a chance

Ms. joy your posts would come across as impactful if you toned down both the pearl clutching "......it scares me to think......." and the use of conspiracy based Newmax lies. The use of phases like...."educated elites....." are the tip off. Please try to add to the discussion rather than the endlessly repetition of the crazy talking points you hear Hannity say and you assume are both smart and factual. They are neither.
