Coronado’s Port Commission representative, Garry Bonelli, was a no-show Monday evening when island citizens packed the Nautilus Room to protest elements of the Port Master Plan update that would put a 300 room hotel plus parking garage on our Ferry Landing property. Elements supported by Bonelli as, yech, “understated elegance.”

When the meeting began Port staff told the crowd that “unfortunately” the Commissioner was unable to attend. I say “disrespectfully” and “cowardly” declined to attend.
