I was inspired by the outstanding achievement of the four CHS JROTC students who qualified for the finalist competition in Washington DC.

I’m impressed by their dedication overcoming the obstacles of Covid and am glad they receive the kind of support needed to excel. Being one of only eight teams out of 580 Navy ROTC teams is outstanding. These students will have a great opportunity that will set them up for good lives.

They bring honor to our community and are the truest evidence of how well our schools and academic personnel are functioning.
