As we all know, cafés were hit hard by the pandemic. Among those was Night and Day Café, 847 Orange Avenue. In an attempt to survive, they moved service to the sidewalk, as so many did. However, Night and Day had very little outdoor space. As a result, their neighbors, Island Carpets and Route 75 Flowers, at 845 Orange, came to their assistance. Island Carpets and Route 75 dedicated space in front of their businesses for additional tables for overflow dining from Night and Day.
Great support from fellow small business owners! As citizens, let’s support these kind efforts and shop/dine locally, and especially these three locally owned and operated small businesses.
