The Mayor and Council have provided the Proclamation! Bike to School Day has occurred! But, fear not, there are still plenty of ways to participate.

Grab your bike and go to the movies! Friday May 19 you can bike down to Tidelands Park and enjoy a family-friendly movie on the big screen. The San Diego County Bicycle Coalition and the Coronado Bicycle Advisory Committee with be there with bike tune-ups and cycling tips.

Thursday, May 18, is Bike to Work Day. There are pit stops all over the county, but our favorite is the one Holland’s Bicycles sponsors on the Ferry.

Finally, Mayor Bailey will lead the annual Mayor’s Ride on Saturday, May 20, starting at Spreckels Park at 12:30 p.m. We’ll take a leisurely cruise around the Village and bend the mayor’s ear on bike issues! So, hop on your noble steed and join us for any or all of the upcoming Bike Month events in Coronado.
