Many will debate and continue the argument of the theory of having House Judiciary Committee hearings impeachment argument brought before a Federal Court on the Obstruction of Congress and Abuse of Power charges, as suggested by Louisiana House representative Mike Johnson who practiced constitutional law for about two decades.

In reading of the Constitution they have an obstacle. The Constitution itself.

Article 1, Section 2, states, “The House of Representatives shall...have the sole Power of Impeachment...”

Black’s law dictionary: Sole - See “cause.”

Cause - something that produces an effect or result.

Article 3:

“1. The Judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, …

“2. The Judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States…”

[equity - fairness, even handed]

As explained, the Constitution of the United States rises above, not “under” Article 3 judicial power of the United States.
