There have been more than a few problems created by President Trump for Donald Trump.

A president who promised to make “great deals” hasn’t actually gotten many deals done. Most of the international agreements Trump vowed to make in his first term are unfinished at best.

In London, Trump said a China pact could wait until after the 2020 election, and maybe fairly modest, if it happens. (Of course the 2020 winner may be a Democrat.)

Eighteen months after Trump and Kim met in Singapore, the nuclear talks are stalemated, and perhaps sliding backward.

In Afghanistan, Trump set out to cut a deal with the Taliban, the Islamist faction toppled from power by U.S. forces in 2001. Not happening.

Trump, in 2017, made a major effort to negotiate peace between Israel and the Palestinians, and put his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, in charge. Did not happened.

We have to hope for better progress in 2020 and beyond-maybe under new leadership!
