I am writing this in solidarity with Susan Keith. Coronado boasts a large and diverse number of historic properties. To ignore this and move forward with inappropriate development would be not only sad but disrespectful. To see such a unique community go the way of Orange County homogenization is unthinkable to me. The National Trust for Historic Preservation has a campaign called “This Place Matters.” It honors and celebrates America’s places that matter for future generations. I say, “Coronado, this place matters!” #thisplacematters
