Two points:

I ride my bike down the Strand three days a week. In recent months I have seen an increase of motorized bikes using the bike path. Signs clearly state that motorized bikes are not allowed. Get off the bike path and onto the highway!

I am not a fast biker, so often other bikers pass me. Letting the biker you are passing know that you are coming is a common courtesy, but that rarely happens. a Simple “passing on your left” announcement will avoid sudden lane changes, collisions and ER visits. Please let me know you’re passing.
