Having been a resident in the vicinity of the Logos “Youth Center” proposal, I can assure you the area is not capable of handling the amount of traffic or people for such a large building. Most importantly, our youth do not need to be in doors, reading the bible. They need to be doing their homework, reading about science, math, and history in the library, coffee shop, or friend’s house. Otherwise they should be at the beach, or the pool, in a sports league, riding their bikes around town, playing music etc.

It’s a fact we’ve had many failed Youth Centers in the past. I urge our council members to continue to vote “no” on this over-development.

Also as McVaney and Bailey are personal friends, Bailey needs to recuse himself from voting.
