George Washington crossed the Delaware River Christmas Eve in the ice laden, bitter snow to win an almost impossible victory over our mother country who had powerfully oppressed our great 13 original colonies. Washington displayed courage, and set the standards for excellence in military affairs and the presidency.

In 2020, Americans must choose a presidential leader of his character, intelligence, experience and wisdom to restore America to the values of our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. This leader must excel in knowledge of foreign policy, military experience and socio-economic problems.

Coronado has had many very courageous, highly educated military personnel. Some examples, are RADM Stockdale, former Senator John McCain and my great hero for my years, Ross Perot, who resigned his commission over the Vietnam War. Ross showed us that Americans must live by the truth even if met with opposition. Captain Van Trap in Germany showed his courage, when he dared to stand up to a Fascist Regime. Germany is now a great nation, thanks to their heroes.

May I plea with the leaders in our community retired and active, to form a team and with their background to help move our country forward. Unfortunately, our leader does not possess Washington’s standards for the presidency.

The leaders in Germany stood up to bloody injustices. The weak argued at the Nuremberg trials they were following orders. I have faith our Founders political ideology will pull us through this storm of social injustice. If just laws are passed and the right leader chosen, America can be restored to greatness.
