At a lovely dinner party the other night five couples who live in Coronado and San Diego, one subject in the conversation became dominate. What to do about Donald Trump?

The conversation was very animated with a consensus that he has tarnished the Presidency and all were concerned about his childish way of behaving and his impetuous remarks and deeds. All were glad that we are not in a war with Iran and mourned the loss of life in the downing of the Ukrainian Airplane.

There was no consensus on who the Democrats should run. All agreed that Mr. Trump should not be reelected! Several people insisted that the choice should be open to both sexes.

I believe Donald Trump has not proven himself capable of leading the United States. His ideas, starting with the reduction of income taxes with most benefit going to the wealthy, him included, have not been in the best interest of America. Some worried that he might not leave office even if he lost the election, claiming it was “rigged.” We must do better than this!
