Sidra Leibowitz Oliphant

Sidra Leibowitz Oliphant, born June 19, 1941 in Greenwich, Connecticut, departed this life on April 5, 2021 in Coronado. Sidra was a Coronado resident since 2003.

Her expansive career began in New York City as a runway model, and a script typist for The Johnny Carson Show and concluded as a secretary for the City of San Diego Attorney’s Office. Her proudest career achievement was serving her country for 15 years in the West Wing of the White House as an author of Presidential Proclamation and Procedural documents.

Sidra is survived by her first cousin, Deborah Ashin of Seattle and second cousins Lauren Ashin Sadler of Boston and Evan Ashin Sadler of New York City. A brief memorial with family was held on April 12.

Her friends and her co-workers will always remember her for her razor sharp wit and intellect.
