After his return from his service in Bahrain, he pursued a career as a real estate agent in Los Angeles for several years before he moved to Coronado and joined BerkshireHathaway in Coronado (previously known as Prudential Realty). He was a very hard working and dedicated realtor at Coronado Shores, where he grew up as a child. He was loved and respected by his friends and co-workers. His enigmatic smile and gentle demeanor made a lasting impression on everyone he interacted with.

Michael had a deep rooted faith. He sent daily Bible verses to those he loved as a constant reminder of the important role God played in his life. He lived his faith through his interactions with others and by selflessly giving to various charities close to his heart; especially to veterans, the homeless and orphanages in Cairo, Egypt.

Michael brought life to every room he entered and had a witty sense of humor. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew him.

His funeral service will be live streamed on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 11a.m. at sacredheartcor.org. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Michael’s name; it can be made to two charities he held close to his heart: Coptic Orphans, P.O. Box 2881, Merrifield, VA 22116 or Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 655 C Avenue, Coronado, CA 92118.
