As noted above, the final decision for Fall sports activities won’t be decided by the CIF until July 20, but fans might like to know what the Islander 2020 Football Schedule would look like if there is positive news emanating from that meeting. The Islanders will compete in the Central League against Mission Bay, Hoover, Clairemont and Crawford. Coronado’s final four games are against those conference rivals. All 10 of the games are scheduled for Friday evenings.

Islander Football Head Coach Kurt Hines said of the schedule, which features three home games and seven road contests, “It’s not ideal in any aspect. But for us to have the strength of schedule we’re looking to compete against, we had to play some of the stronger programs on the road. We’re just hoping and praying to have a season this year.”
