Islander senior Samantha McNall journeyed to Clovis West High School last weekend, so she could compete at the CIF State Swimming Championships which were held at the Clovis Olympic Swim Complex. McNall’s best event is the 100 breaststroke, an event in which she finished second in the CIF San Diego Section Swim Meet the week before. Islander Head Coach Paul Folts said of McNall’s results, “We would have liked for Sam to get into the Finals, but she still had a great swim, finishing in 1:04.28.”
