2019 Coronado Islander Football Schedule Announced

Islander Football Head Coach Kurt Hines has announced the 10-game, Varsity schedule for the 2019 season. As a quick overview, the Islanders will again be in the Central League, a circuit that includes Clairemont, Coronado, Crawford, Hoover and Serra. Coronado returns to CIF Division IV, where 12 of the 17 teams competing in the division qualify for the post-season.

In addition, the annual Homecoming game will be played against Clairemont Friday, Oct. 11, 2019, with kick-off slated for 6:30 p.m. Senior Night will be the following Friday night, Oct. 18, 2019, against Crawford, also slated for 6:30 p.m. The game Oct. 25 is a crossover game against City League member San Diego High School. Aug. 17 Scrimmage vs. Montgomery Site TBD, 5 p.m.

Aug. 23 Coronado @ Maranatha Christian, 7 p.m.

Aug. 30 Classical Academy at Coronado, 7 p.m.

Sept. 6 Coronado @ El Cajon Valley, 7 p.m.

Sept. 13 Mar Vista at Coronado, 7 p.m.

Sept. 20 Mountain Empire at Coronado,  7 p.m.

Sept. 27 Bye Week

Oct. 4 Coronado @ Serra,  6:30 p.m.

Oct. 11 Clairemont at Coronado (Homecoming), 6:30 p.m.

Oct. 18 Crawford at Coronado-Senior Night, 6:30 p.m.

Oct. 25 Coronado @ San Diego, 6:30 p.m.

Nov. 1 Coronado @ Hoover, 6:30 p.m.
