In the United States, National POW/MIA Recognition Day is observed on the third Friday in September. You Are Not Forgotten is the central theme behind the POW/MIA remembrance movement. It honors those who were prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action. It is most associated with those who were POWs during the Vietnam War.

In honor of those POWs and those who are or were missing in action and their families, the General Henry D. Styer VFW Post 2422 and its Auxiliary are honoring them with a special dinner on Friday, Oct. 1. We will be serving a Roast Pork dinner with all the trimmings for a donation of $15. The dinner will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Please join us in honoring these heroes and their families. God bless them and may God Bless America!
