Super Science Challenge ...

Laura Kate Cook, age 5, took on the library’s Super Science Challenge for August and went in search of wildlife in Coronado, finding 16 of the 20 species on the list available at the library. In the Tidelands, Laura found several different types of birds including willets, whimbrels, mourning doves. She was even lucky enough to spot an opossum on her driveway. The prize for the challenge, is a selfie with the library’s Coronado Wildlife exhibit in partnership with the Natural History Museum. Laura chose to take her picture with the cottontail.
