SAFE Coffee Talk: Helping Your Teen With Anxiety

The next SAFE Coffee Talk is Dec. 9 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the CUSD Board Room, 201 Sixth Street. This Coffee Talk will have speakers Jonathan Steele, AMFT and Michelle Slater, LMFT, who will discuss Helping Your Teen with Anxiety.

The discussion will explain how anxiety develops, the impact of anxiety on one’s life and give tools and ways to connect. Learn ways to transform your family. Afterwards there will be an interactive Q and A.

Steele and Slater are colleagues at the Therapeutic Center for Trauma and Anxiety. Steele helps couples and families build self-esteem and find connection and intimacy with those close to them. Slater works with individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues and has a bottomless toolbox to share with whomever walks into her office.
