If you have ever wanted to learn how to use Photoshop or to speak Mandarin, now could be the perfect time with the power of your library card. If you don’t have a card, it is now possible to apply entirely online through the library website.

In addition to new video and social media programs librarians are now providing, the library’s other online offerings are enjoying a renaissance. From the library website, residents can learn up to 60 new languages, how to use any Adobe or Microsoft product, research their ancestry or read an eBook.

The number of eBooks available has been greatly expanded and new sources of eContent are being added. The Kanopy streaming movie service now includes unlimited Kanopy Kids content. Kanopy compliments services like Netflix by offering a robust collection of independent and foreign movies as well as a strong collection of documentaries.

Flipster offers popular magazines like Time and People in full color for free to library card holders. If you are not sure what to read, Novelist offers lists of title and author read-a-likes. Library staff have posted topical reading lists to the home page of the new catalog.

The library is waiving all fees and fines while the library and book drops are closed. If you have any questions for the library, please use the Contact Us portal from the website.
