St. Paul Methodist Church in Coronado partnered with the Nestor United Methodist Church to support their Good Neighbor Ministry. St. Paul provided boxes with a list of non perishable foods to be placed in them every day of Advent from Dec. 1 to Dec. 24. On Dec 29 the participants delivered the boxes to Nestor United Methodist Church to be distributed to the needy. This project, called New Beginnings Box, was done to fill the gap between now and January when more food will be available. Pictured here is Jenni Nesbitt, director of Christian Formation at St. Paul’s unloading a donation box. About 65 donation boxes were expected.
