The San Diego Center for Jewish Culture’s 2021-2022 Mandelbaum Family Lecture Series kicks off its season of free lectures with Deborah Hertz, Herman Wouk Chair of Jewish Studies at UC San Diego. Her lecture titled, “Why Jewish Women Plotted to Assassinate the Czar in Russia in 1881’’ will take place at the Coronado Public Library’s Winn Room on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 10:30 a.m. For more information and to register please visit www.lfjcc.org/learning.

On Dec. 8, 2021, the lecture series continues with a lecture by Ronit Weiss-Berkowitz, MGSDII Visiting Professor.
