Coronado Recreation and Golf Services offers a multitude of camps over the summer season for every age and interest. Camps are ongoing now and last through the summer, until Friday, August 16.

The always fun, staple of Recreation and Coronado summers is Camp Coronado. This favorite of Coronado youth fills warm days with games, crafts, swimming, sports and all around outdoor play in Glorietta Bay Park. Middle School Teen offerings include Action Adventure Camp where campers kayak, ride roller coasters, surf and more. This year we are offering new sports camps. Sign your children or teens up for a week at Basketball, Volleyball (indoor and outdoor), Golf and / or Tennis Sports Camps. In our new Fun-Nado Camps, participants will visit trampoline parks, play laser tag, go kayaking, ride the rides at Sea World and more.

The ever popular Skate Camps keep your wheels rolling throughout San Diego County Skateparks. Skaters hang out and visit multiple skateparks around the county. At the Summer Aquatic Adventure Camp the goings-on are kayaking, canoeing, sailing, boogie boarding and surfing all day on the San Diego Bay.  You can hang ten at one of the Surf Camps or groove to the beat in our Dance and Gymnastics Camps.  We have Lego Engineering Camps, Video Gaming, Gloopy Slime Creators & Builders Camp, Xtreme Dodgeball, Jump Rope Camps, Chess, Laser Tag, Oceanography and Animation Camps.

New this summer are  Shark Week, I Can Do that Challenge, Rugby Camp, Nailed It Cooking Challenge, Grass Volleyball, Mini Cake Boss, YouTube Challenge, Glamping, The Secret Life of Pets, Kids Baking Challenge , Food Lab, Globe Trotters, Air Attack Flag Football, and Planes, Trains and Automobiles Camps.

Whether campers want to play outside all day or beat the heat indoors, there is a camp for you. Registration is recommended early for summer weeks as these programs fill up quickly. However, registration is open throughout the summer.

Look for dates, times, locations, fees, ages and detailed descriptions of all these camps in The City of Coronado Recreation and Golf Services brochure located at www.coronado.ca.us/Register.
