As part of the Teen Summer Reading Program, “It’s Showtime at Your Library,” the Coronado Public Library is now accepting submissions for the Summer Visual Art Show. Entrants must be entering sixth through 12th grade in Fall 2019, or be a Class of 2019 high school graduate. All visual art mediums may be entered, including, but not limited to, photography, paintings, woodworking and ceramics.

If you would like to submit an entry, please send an email to the Teen Librarian, Jacqueline Luna, at jluna@coronado.ca.us by June 7. Your submission email must include your name, email, grade in Fall 2019, medium, and a digital image of the art. The show will run from June 17 through Aug. 16 in the Teen Library.

The Summer Reading Kick-Off Party and Artist’s Reception for the Teen Summer Visual Art Show will be on Wednesday, June 19 at 2 p.m. in the Winn Room of the Coronado Public Library. Enjoy games, cake, popcorn and sign up for the Teen Summer Reading Program.
