Girl Scouts Celebrate World Thinking Day ...

Like many things, World Thinking Day 2020 was postponed and transformed into a virtual experience for Coronado Girl Scouts this year. World Thinking Day is a day of international friendship, and an opportunity to speak out on issues that affect young women. This year’s theme, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, included making a “Diversity Garden.” Girl Scouts colored paper garden shapes adding a word about something they are proud of in themselves and something they admire in others. These were added to the banner by individual Girl Scouts over the weekend. The Coronado Police Department joined in adding their own shapes as well and together wove a colorful tapestry.
