Coronado resident Jill Olen will discuss first-hand observations from her 16-month tour in Afghanistan at Friday’s Zoom meeting of the Coronado Roundtable.

Volunteering to join the U.S. supported and NATO-led mission to train, advise, and assist the Afghan government, her mission was to strengthen the Rule of Law in this proud but perilously damaged country. Able to draw on her unique and extraordinarily relevant background, both as a lawyer and a recognized U.S. expert in security, Olen provides candid and unique insights into establishing a working society based on the Rule of Law while combatting both corruption and gross violation of human rights, all in a nation still racked with internal conflict.

Please join the Coronado Roundtable Zoom Meeting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, for this insightful discussion led by someone who was actually there. Zoom Meeting ID is 821 7915 3192. Passcode is 075733. Simply go to Zoom.com and click on “Join Meeting.”
