“I am proud to support our local public schools by donating a custom street-legal Golf Cart to be won by a lucky donor at the Coronado Schools Foundation’s March 9 Telethon. In my four years in Coronado I have seen the impact the schools have on our community and welcome the opportunity to give back,” states Mike Matheny, owner of Coronado Golf Cars.
In addition to providing rental golf cars to visitors Mike and his team offer custom built refurbished golf carts as a smart and sleek way to get around town. The street legal carts range from 4 to 8 passenger seating and can be custom tailored to meet your needs. “Our family-owned and operated business provides an eco-friendly, parking friendly way to explore Coronado, either as a guest or neighbor.”
Matheny is in good company this year supporting the CSF 2017 Telethon with fellow business partners collectively donating over $35,000 towards the $206,000 goal for this event: Milberg Orthodontics, Hotel del Coronado, Mullins Orthodontics, Glorietta Bay Inn, Willis Allen Real Estate, la mer, CMG Mortgage, Spiro’s Greek Cafe, Nicolls Design-Build, the Coronado Times, Kari Lyons, Realtor, Clayton’s Coffee Shop, Herlinda Ryan of San Diego Lifestyle Realty and Coronado Smiles. Blue Bridge Hospitality returns offering an all-school Village Pizzeria pizza party (first place) and an all-school Moo Time ice cream party (second place) to the school that has the most participation (#of donors vs. enrollment). For details visit csfkids.org/telethon.
