An extraordinary group of girls from Coronado Middle School (CMS) have spent the past two weeks hand creating friendship bracelets, then selling them to raise money for Rady Children’s Hospital - San Diego.

This grassroots effort began with Carley Pinsonneault, an 8th grader at CMS who got her friends involved in making the friendship bracelets, a project the girls named “Threads for Love.” After the girls put together a bunch of bracelets they sell them, after school, during sports, and at local community events. The girls have been working hard and have already raised over six hundred dollars in just two short weeks.

Ann Goodfellow, President of the Coronado auxiliary unit for Rady Children’s Hospital is acting as the liaison between the girls and the hospital. Please follow them on Instagram: threads4love_ to see their latest news and where you can buy a bracelet to help support Rady Children’s Hospital.
