Christmas 2020 will indeed be one to remember and while we may not be worshipping together in our historic sacred space at Christ Church, we have the unique opportunity to connect for a truly authentic Christmas in a very different way. Christ Church invites you and your family to join us for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services to celebrate the birth of Christ as only the Episcopal church can.

Our 3 p.m. Joy to the World service on Christmas Eve is geared towards the young and young at heart. As always, children will be front and center in this service that features the annual Christmas pageant. You’re invited to participate as a family; have your own bells ready to ring and candles to light as the Christmas story unfolds. At 5 p.m. we invite you to gather ‘round your tree, dressed in your Christmas best, to “attend” a very traditional Evening Prayer service on Zoom. We will come together in real time for readings, prayers, and beautiful Christmas music.

This year instead of rushing out to church for the Christmas Eve service you might be enjoying a quiet holiday gathering at home. We hope you’ll tune at 7 p.m. to enjoy Christmas carols and an encore presentation of our Lessons and Carols service. This is an opportunity to bring the music, readings, and beauty of Christmas Eve at Christ Church into your home. And hopefully, a less hectic morning will provide you the opportunity to join us at 10 a.m. Christmas Day for Morning Prayer, even in your Christmas pj’s!

Don’t be alone this Christmas, extend the invitation to worship together to your friends and family across the distance. Christ Church welcomes all to connect this Christmas.

All services may be accessed via the Christ Church website at
