Rumor has it some folks in Coronado are looking to join book clubs. Look no further than the Coronado Public Library, with two book clubs meeting this week.

The monthly Spoilers Book Club meets on Saturday, November 19 from 2-5:30 p.m. in the Library’s Winn Room.

Spoilers Book Club reads a book, then watches the movie (what they will do on November 19). Then participants have a discussion, comparing the book and movie. This month’s selection was Stephen King’s The Body, and the film based on it, Stand By Me, is rated R and is one hour and 29 minutes long.

The Mystery Book Club meets at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 21, to discuss Arsenic and Adobo by Mia Manansala. The Mystery Book club meets regularly on the third Monday of each month.

To see all upcoming Library book club meetings, visit, mouse over Events and Exhibits at the top of the page, and click Book Clubs. View the clubs for this month and for upcoming months by scrolling through the calendar.
