Did you know you can help abused children by participating in the annual Thanksgiving Coronado Turkey Trot, which will be held this year on Nov. 28? The net proceeds of year’s event, sponsored by the Coronado unit of the Rady Children’s Hospital Auxilliary, will go directly to the Chadwick Center at Rady’s. The center’s focus is on the health and well being of abused and traumatized children, as well as the prevention of child abuse.

Both running and walking options are available, and both adults and youth are welcome. The local unit would like to remind everyone that every dollar counts, and sponsorships are available! For those who want to help but don’t wish to participate in the race, your donations are most welcome, and can be done via the race website. For more information and to sign up, please visit www.coronadoturkeytrot.com To learn more about The Chadwick Center, please visit www.chadwickcenter.com
