Calling all winter revelers, raw bar lovers and wine drinkers! Take a night off from the obligatory holiday party circuit to indulge in an innovative and delightful six course sushi and wine pairing at Saiko Sushi in Coronado. It’s all happening on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 116 Orange Avenue at 5:30 p.m.

Chef Anthony Pascale welcomes guests on a masterful culinary adventure as they nibble on newfangled sushi creations and sip on divine European wines.

“I chose these wines to pair with Pascale’s amazing cuisine because they represent some of the best wine regions in the world,” says Alex Daniels, CSW Wine Specialist from Young’s Market Company. “The contrast of these beautiful Old World wines and this amazing new food will be a thrill for all who attend.”

“I’ve been working on this idea for a few years,” says Pascale. “The wines and the sushi are so different, but together we can create some really unique and interesting flavors and textures.”

In the spirit of the season, guests are asked to bring an unwrapped toy to be donated to families in need at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church just over the bridge. Guests are welcome to come dressed in their own personal spin on sparkles to embrace the celebratory shimmer of the holiday.

Guests can purchase tickets online at EventBrite. $70 includes all six courses and tip.
