Ann De La Torre will be offering knitting classes again. Learn how to knit, purl, cast on and bind off. You will be shown how to read the yarn labels and knit a swatch to get the correct gauge.

De La Torre will also give you step by step instructions for cable knitting (Aran) and introduce you to different ways of using different colors in your projects (designs, Fair Isle, Argyle). Materials (yarn, needles) will be available for these classes but you are welcome to bring your own.

Classes are planned for Mondays: March 18, and 25, April 1, 8, and 15. Classes are 90 minutes long and cost $15 each. Class size is limited so early registration is recommended. Send e-mail to knittingincoronado@gmail.com or leave a message/text at 619-573-2112. Please include your name, phone number and knitting experience. Advanced classes will be scheduled this summer so check the Coronado Eagle & Journal or contact De La Torre now to be placed on interest list.
