Artist Harrison Howard At Emerald C Gallery ...

Artist Harrison Howard started out as a young painter at age 19, when he did a solo exhibit in La Jolla in the early 70's. He said he has been interested in art from childhood when both of his parents' interests revolved around art, antiques, history and traveling. "My father was a professional painter," he said. For two decades he painted murals but he said it became too taxing and he was away from his family too much. "It became a problem when the teachers at my son's school thought my wife was a widow," he said. Currently, Howard focuses on easel size prints and paints and he licenses his images to businesses for textile, wallpaper, fabrics and more. You can find his artwork in Emerald C Gallery.
