Annual Holiday Adopt-a-Family ...

The Coronado Police Department held their Annual Holiday Adopt-a-Family, partnering with Graham Memorial Church and the residents at the Coronado Shores, to benefit San Diego Military Outreach families stationed locally (E5 and below) a beautiful Christmas. Families at this rank qualify for food stamps. The organization has maxed out at 84 families with 136 kids signed up. The ages of the children range from newborn to 17 years of age. The toy drive ended on Dec. 9 and many new, unwrapped gifts in the lounge area at the Shores were donated and dropped off at Graham Memorial Church. Military parents in need went to Graham Memorial Church to “shop” for their children on Monday, Dec. 13.
