Coronado Retirement Village will be having a soft unveiling of their brand new Veterans Wall of Honor on Monday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. This special wall dedicated to their resident veterans will feature veterans from all branches of service including the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps., U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and US Coast Guard.

Honoring our veterans this Veterans Day, Coronado Retirement Village (CRV) wishes to pay tribute to all veterans, both male and female, by presenting a unique ceremony and service. They will have an official ceremony and pinning begin for the veterans and their families. They will also be recognizing a very special veteran selected each year by the CRV committee. This year’s honoree is also a City of Coronado Avenue of Heroes recipient, as well as receiving this years chief Honoree Award, Captain Lloyd F. Cooper, USN. Cooper is also a Legion of Merit recipient.

The public is welcome to attend. The Coronado Retirement Village is located at 299 Prospect Place. The ceremony will take place at their outdoor atrium and patio.
