The Coronado Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Celebrate Coronado on Thursday Sept. 30 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Feast & Fareway at the Coronado Golf Club, 2000 Visalia Row. This event is a community-wide celebration as the Chamber honors the city and the local heroes who protect it: Coronado’s firefighters, police officers, lifeguards and city employees. Everyone is welcome!

“Celebrate Coronado is our chance to publicly thank the local firefighters, lifeguards, police officers and city employees who work tirelessly for the community,” Membership and Events Manager Kerri Dowling said. “It’s such a great event, and we hope the community will help us recognize these heroes.”

This event serves as the Chamber’s Annual Community Awards, including the local Police Officer of the Year, Firefighter of the Year, Lifeguard of the Year, City Employee of the Year and Naval Base Coronado Firefighter of the Year. The Chamber will also present their selected Volunteer of the Year and Lewis R. Hardy, Jr. Award for service to the community.

The entire Coronado community is invited to attend this celebratory evening! Tickets are on sale now for only $50. Tickets include dinner, drinks, and a silent auction.

Get ready for a fun evening full of culinary delights, community and celebration as we honor all things Coronado. Learn more and reserve your spot today at or by calling the Chamber office.
