The John D. Spreckels Center will host many programs this July, including:

Floral Design: On Monday, July 8, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., join instructor Maribel Herrera for this month’s Seasonal Floral Design class. Learn how to make a topiary style arrangement with sunflowers, spray roses, solid aster, greenery and fresh lemons. Cost is $35 for residents, $45 for nonresidents, plus a $25 materials fee payable to the instructor on the day of class.

Saturday Yoga: Sign up for the new Rejuvenating Yoga and Meditation class on Saturdays, July 6, 13, 20 and 27, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Cost for four classes is $32 for residents, $40 for nonresidents. Remember to bring your yoga mat.

Monday Meditation: A 30-minute Meditation and Relaxation experience will be held on Monday, July 8 and Aug. 12, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. No prior experience is necessary. Cost is $3 for residents, $4 for nonresidents.

Cooking with Cyndi: On Wednesday, July 31, a “Cooking with Cyndi” class will be held from 2 to 4:30 p.m with the theme of “Vegetables for Carnivores.” In this hands-on class taught by Chef Cyndi Burgunder, participants will learn how to prepare strawberry and leek quesadillas, creamy grains with roasted portobello mushrooms and peanut butter pretzel tartlets. Cost is $59 for residents, $70 for nonresidents.
