Summer Shuttle Kick Off ...

City leaders, local hoteliers and members of the community attended a kick-off event on Friday, May 24, for Coronado’s Free Summer Shuttle program. The event was held on the first day of service at 10 a.m. at Coronado Rotary Plaza. Four brightly wrapped buses will be in service from the Memorial Day holiday weekend through Labor Day. After the kick-off ceremony, the community was invited to take a ride. Discover Coronado again paid to wrap the four buses, which are larger this year. The City will contract with MTS to provide special free bus service on the Fourth of July for Cays residents as well as extended service in the Village, and free bus rides are available to Cays residents for use throughout the summer. Free Compass Cards can be picked up at the Cays Homeowners Association office during business hours.
