Coronado City Manager Blair King invites the community to attend a public meeting to discuss traffic along the Silver Strand. The City has received letters from concerned citizens about traffic back-ups earlier this month. To address those concerns and to discuss the new smart traffic signal system recently installed at four intersections from City Hall to Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, the City is hosting the meeting on Thursday, Nov. 2, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Coronado Cays Homeowners Association’s Grand Caribe Room, 505 Grand Caribe Causeway. Also attending are Public Services & Engineering Director Cliff Maurer; City Engineer Ed Walton; and Coronado Police Department Captain Jesus Ochoa.
