The San Diego Chapter of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA) will host the San Diego Team Hope Walk on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 9 a.m. at Coronado Tidelands Park. All proceeds support HDSA’s mission to improve the lives of people affected by Huntington’s disease (HD) and their families.

“We are looking forward to seeing our HD families again in person for our Team Hope Walk,” said Meredith Fidler, Event Coordinator. “The walk has always provided unique opportunities for our HD families and friends to gather as a community, catch up with old friends and meet new people. All while raising awareness and money for HDSA. We will also be reaching out live from Coronado to our virtual walkers to ensure we are walking as one community.”

Team Hope is HDSA’s largest national grassroots fundraising event, which takes place in over 100 cities across the U.S. and has raised more than $20 million for HD since its inception in 2007. Thousands of families, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and communities walk together each year to support HDSA’s mission to improve the lives of people affected by HD and their families.
