A Public Hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the City of Coronado, in the City Council Chambers, located at Coronado City Hall, 1825 Strand Way, Coronado, California, Tuesday, July 28, at 3 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible.
This public hearing is scheduled to consider: PC 2020-05 and -09, CP 2020-03 Crown Manor; a Request for a Recommendation to the City Council of a Major Special Use Permit, Parking Plan, and Coastal Permit to allow the Crown Manor to provide overnight accommodations and events on the Historically designated property located at 1015 Ocean Boulevard, in the R1-A Single Family Residential zone. The project requires a Major Special Use Permit and a Parking Plan to allow the residence to be used for overnight accommodations and events, and a Coastal Permit for new development that is not exempt per CMC 86.70.050, which was submitted by Christopher Bower on March 4, 2020.
Pursuant to Governor Newsom’s Executive Orders N-25-20, N-29-20 and N-33-20, members of the Coronado City Council and staff may participate in public meetings via teleconference.
In the interest of reducing the spread of COVID-19, no in-person participation is currently allowed; but please monitor the City website for any updates. Planning Commission Meetings are broadcast live on Spectrum Channel 19 and AT&T Channel 99 on the day of the meeting and rebroadcast daily until the next meeting.
