Recreation Services will once again offer in-person viewing of the popular Osher Lectures at the Spreckels Center. Dates and times will be announced on a monthly basis in the Osher monthly newsletter. Attendees may RSVP for lectures by phone or in-person at the front desk. Lectures will continue to be sent out once a month via email on the same day they are viewed at the Spreckels Center. Each lecture will be available online until the next in-person showing.

The September Osher Lecture is at 2:30 p.m. on Sept 21 and is titled: “Grand Room Zoom Workshop: Advance Your Skills.” The workshop will focus on a few advanced features to help advance Zoom skills: how to schedule Zoom meetings to stay in touch with family and friends; how to raise your hand the Zoom way; how to be sure your camera and microphone are working properly; how to use virtual backgrounds; and Zoom etiquette. Quelda Wilson, a retired former assistant vice chancellor for human resources at University of California, San Diego, is the presenter.
