Coronado residents can now get a COVID-19 test in town, just outside of the Coronado Club Room and Boathouse, 1985 Strand Way, by the bay. The City of Coronado has partnered with Kahala Biosciences to make the following COVID-19 tests available: a RT-PCR (viral) test to check for an active infection, a rapid RT-PCR test (more expensive for immediate results), and an antibody test to detect antibodies in the immune system that may tell you if you had a past infection.

The testing site is set up into two parts. Check-in and registration is available outside the front the Boathouse building (facing the street) where staff will verify IDs, which test(s) an individual would like to have done, and insurance and/or payment logistics. Individuals are then given a testing tray and move around to the outside
